The Brazil-China Trade and Cooperation Office of Southern Brazil is a bilateral platform focused on building long-term relations between Brazil and China through trade, culture, and institutional exchange. With operations in Pelotas and Chengdu, we support businesses, professionals, and cultural actors in navigating both markets with confidence and mutual respect.

Pedro Garcia Mallmann
Graduated in International Relations from UFPEL, he plays a central role in the design and articulation of this strategic cooperation initiative between Pelotas and China. His vision and ability to integrate different stakeholders were essential in conceiving the creation of the Brazil-China Trade and Cooperation Office in Southern Brazil, opening new paths for mutual development and prosperity. His work ensures that the project’s activities are well-coordinated and contribute to Brazil’s foreign policy and national development strategies.

He participated in our recent mission to China, where he launched a residency project that included a mural intervention and engagement with local communities. His work combines street art, visual storytelling, and cultural diplomacy, making him a key cultural ambassador in our creative initiatives between Brazil and China.
Piero Castro Miozzo
Brazilian lawyer with over 13 years of experience in legal advisory and litigation, Piero specializes in Public Law, focusing on environmental, tax, and public management matters. His work is closely linked to the agribusiness sector and international trade. With solid experience in corporate law, import/export regulations, and public-private legal frameworks, he supports institutional development from a practical, market-oriented legal perspective. Piero is also recognized for his ability to navigate complex legal environments and build strategic partnerships.
